My latest project a custom CAFE RACER...

 1976 CB400F

I hate to think how many hours I have in this ol' girl at this point.

I still have some tweaking to do but I have ridden her around the parking lot.

I custom built the tail to hide the battery. I used caramel brown vinyl with an old leather belt holding it in place. I relocated the fuse box under the seat.

Factory 4 into1 header with a modified modern Suzuki can. Cool sound.

The tank has hours of work to create the knee hugger look, I'm not positive but I think the tank is off a 550.

The engine was in pretty good shape..just the usual stuff.

Frame is painted with a few hidden tweaks...

You can see from this she was a Basket Case. I wish I had thought to take photos of her before I started tearing in to her.

It really is amazing to see it like this as to the finished bike.

I fabricated a tail with storage space that hinges with a key latch. That is the new space for the battery.
I used an old police car spotlight with Kaw ZX750 headlight.
LED's integrated into the headlight for blinkers and tail light is a backup light from something old, has a clear lens LED bulb inside to create my brake and running lights. Bullet blinkers in the future.

SMOKE ON THE WATER....

HARLEY-DAVIDSON

I rarely have requests for Harley's but recently I had 2 back to back.

The second guy saw the first one and wanted something similar.

The 'Smoke On The Water' look is hard to beat and easy on the eye.

The whole concept was to match his truck somewhat and I think I did a pretty cool job of it.

We decided to put silver on black and black on silver.

The stripes worked out well too.

The silver is smooth but the background black is loaded with flakes.

It was hard to get the photo I wanted with all the flakes flashing and the clear glaring back at me...;)

This is the first Harley. He wanted it simple with ghost flames.

The flames came out great and the stripe work as well. The 'HARLEY-DAVIDSON' emblem is painted on too.

UPDATE

 CUSTOM PAINT ON A ZX14

Cobalt Blue Candy: Night sky with storm clouds and lightening. There is a face on the seat cowl could be THOR.

The night storm clouds can be seen here. The lightening is erratic.

I created an in house LED lighting system.

You can almost see the green lights in the tail lights. When the lights change it will show up here as well.

LATEST BLACK CHERRY AND FLAMES...

This Busa needed an extra touch so we decided on Black Cherry...it has a
 brown overtone.

The Fairing has flames over the instrument cluster which is reflecting back on to it.

Down low at the bottom of the panels..I added flames which is reflecting the gravel drive...can you say HOT!!!!
Did you notice I painted the frame as well?

I added a lot of things including LED Lighting with changing colors at your command. This thing will be seen coming and going.....Just hopes he remembers what's legal and what ain't...lol

I tried to get a photo of the flakes coming through but the sun was too hot.

CURRENT WORK

I worked this ZX-14 back during the summer. Some candy, flames and a little sparkle thrown in does a ZX-14 good. The customer took home trophies at every show this summer. He has plans of having it in '2wheeltuner' as well.
